The RPM3 achieves its exceptional performance, stability and fun factor through the seamless integration of its three-line layout, airfoil and riser system. The true three-line design reduces total line length, significantly lowering drag and improving overall efficiency. It also allows the airfoil to be optimised to better manage changes in angle of attack, resulting in outstanding pitch stability and a remarkably smooth flying experience.

Optimized internal structure
Every cell, internal rib and diagonal on the RPM3 has been carefully engineered and extensively analysed using advanced CFD simulations to achieve the ideal chordwise and spanwise tension distribution. The result is a cleaner, more efficient internal structure with fewer attachment points, creating a canopy that is both taut and rigid while retaining the precise amount of flexibility needed to transmit clear, confidence-inspiring feedback to the pilot.
A well-tensioned sail is particularly important in turbulent and thermic conditions, where it enhances canopy solidity, improves aerodynamic efficiency and increases resistance to collapses. The result is a more stable, efficient and reassuring flying experience across the full speed range.
Risers and tip steering
A big part of the RPM3's magic lies in its riser design: simple to use, yet sophisticated in both technology and function. Our goal was to create a riser system that allows pilots to access the RPM3's full potential in the most intuitive way possible.
Up to setting number 5, the RPM3 delivers the ideal balance of speed, efficiency and ease of use, allowing pilots to fly comfortably using both the main brakes and tip steering.
Beyond setting number 5, the wing progressively enters its full reflex mode. From trimmer positions 6 to 10, tip steering should be used exclusively to steer and control the glider. This range still gives maximum stability and performance at speed.
Colour-coded risers make pre-flight checks and launches simple, while the dedicated tip-steering attachment points make control inputs intuitive and easy to identify in flight. The result is a clean, user-friendly system that unlocks the RPM3's impressive performance without unnecessary complexity.
